I met Sean and Lyndsey after Lyndseys sister Sarah surprised the two of them with an engagement session with me in Bow Valley Provincial Park. (I know, what an amazing sister!) We curled up in big comfy chairs at a Starbucks 2 years ago and got to know each other over coffee. They recounted how they met, her love for cats, and how Sean proposed - hiking in Kananaskis - he asked her to take the greatest adventure of all, marriage! :)
These two have been in my life now for almost two years. From our first meeting, to a 4 hour wedding consult at their house where we really just talked about life over tea... to this moment- the biggest day of their lives as a couple. I'm so lucky that Sarah found me and asked me to be their photographer. They are so incredibly sweet. Lyndsey is so gentle, shy, and down to earth. Sean is romantic, silly, and thoughtful. Together they have such an easiness, a friendship and deep admiration for one another. They have such strength as they support each other in their dreams and to their commitment of building a beautiful life together. I'm so very lucky to call them friends. :)
Congratulations again you two!!

officially Mr & Mrs Simpson!!
one of my most absolute favourite moments of the day, a simple and deeply meaningful hug where both Lyndsey and Sean took a moment, a breath, held each other and soaked in the meaning of their day.
